Set within a vast site adjoining an orchard, this residence is conceived as a minimalist composition of clean lines and bold volumes.
The design is driven by the concept of a continuous “fold,” shaping a unique and expressive built form.

Spread across a 16,500 sq. m. site, the residence is carefully positioned to engage with its natural surroundings, creating a calm and immersive living environment. The architecture follows a minimalist approach, defined by simple geometries, uncluttered spaces, and a refined material palette that enhances the overall spatial experience.
The central design idea revolves around the concept of a “fold,” where a single structural element appears to bend and shape the built mass. This is expressed through RCC folds combined with expansive glass façades, creating a dynamic interplay between structure and transparency. Walls and openings are articulated within this framework to maximise ventilation and ensure optimal daylight throughout the home.
The south façade is treated with double-glazed units (DGU) to reduce heat gain and external noise, enhancing comfort within the interiors. The design process evolved through a deep understanding of the clients’ lifestyle, preferences, and sensibilities, allowing the architecture to respond meaningfully to their needs.
Defined by straight lines, a subtle colour palette, and a rhythmic arrangement of vertical and horizontal elements, the residence achieves a balance between bold expression and understated elegance. The result is a refined architectural outcome that reflects both conceptual clarity and a personalised design approach.
